Still doesn't fly for me and my MF4270 … are there group parameters that are necessary to spool to the printer? When I send a test page, the document lodges in the queue, but doesn't complete … it remains in the queue and the printer issues a warning 'beep' with no test page output.

Forgot to get back to you folks in my euphoria … after a careful reset of the networking addresses and socket URL, everything is great! Thanks a lot to the folks who contributed this … without which, we ImageClass owners in 'Ubuntu Land' might have been 'high and dry' for a while.
